Meeting to exchange lessons about access to COVID-19 vaccines for at-risk groups, HIV/AIDS infected groups and TB infected groups
Discussion and exchange of lessons about COVID-19 disease ຮຽນ is one of the activities under the COVID-19 vaccine support program in Lao PDR which accelerates the key groups of the project to have access to vaccine services, especially: the elderly, the disabled, the people with personal diseases, pregnant women and including the less privileged groups. It is still to be observed that these people are at risk and yet to be properly informed about Covid-19 including vaccines causing anxiety, anxiety and reluctance to receive the vaccine further more likely to be discriminated against by health services centres or communities caused by misunderstandings, misinformed therefore one of the reasons why the number of vaccination recipients each area is still at stake Low and not yet achieved by project indicators.
Goals:
- In order for participants to understand and be aware of the correct information until behavioural changes occurring in order to receive Covid-19 vaccine.
- To provide a platform to discuss-exchange and share experiences, problems and difficulties from getting vaccinated as well as working together to find solutions.
In this activity is to be conducted with the project senior citizens group especially those who are at risk of social distancing by dividing into groups which are: Transgender (TG), Male Love Group (MSM), Male Infected Group and HIV Infected Group at Elavan Hotel Conference Hall on October 22-25, 2023.
