CHIAs envisions just, access for all key venerable population (KVPs) and people living and affected by diseases (PLWDs) in Lao PDR.
We inspire inclusive communities, where all vulnerable populations and marginalized groups are actively engaged in community-led health services and advocate for comprehensive health, rights and social justice for all.

“I have been a practitioner and inspirational leader for over 15 years in the areas of HIV, nutrition and relevant development fields. I believe in the adoption of the rights-based approach focusing on responding to the needs of communities as well as ensuring accountability, empowerment, non-discrimination of all forms, inclusiveness, equality and equity. This new strategic plan will enable us to achieve our goals effectively and will maximize positive impacts to our stakeholders and beneficiaries.”

“I was a pioneer in a project on HIV/AIDS counseling in Lao PDR and I have been an activist to address health and the rights of transgender women and those living for HIV for many years and also a member in the national coordination mechanism for the projects supported by the Global Fund to Fight against HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria. We are in the changing world and I am sure that this strategic plan will help shape up our organization to accommodate broad needs on health and rights of vulnerable populations more effectively.”
