Training in using tools to collect information to evaluate the final stage of the program to support access to Covid-19 vaccine in Lao PDR

During the past 1-3 November, Oxfam Lao organization and CRS have organized: a training and demonstration of the tools to gather information to evaluate the final success of the program to support the access to Covid-19 vaccine in Lao PDR at the conference room of the Department of Education and Sport Savannakhet province with the purpose to:

• Evaluate the skills and abilities of public health workers in vaccine service
• To assess the outcome of meeting public health needs on the necessity of basic standards of access
• To evaluate the resolution of restrictions on vaccine access and vaccination promotion activities
• Strategic plan assessment and results in community engagement and outreach by local public service points.

With total 68 participants, representing each sector are: Department of Sanitation 2 people, coordinators from the district and the provincial government of 4 provinces (Khammouan, Savannakhet, Salavan, Champasak) total 34 people, Oxfam in Laos and CRS 6 people, 2 specialists, staff from APLPlusLaos 7 people, armi.la 5 people, 12 CHIAs association total 68 people.
